Don't underestimate Gaia. Although she is the worst of the 3 atty gods and the least popular, she has many different capabilites that are effective vs a variety of gods. I'm guna give you my BO for an FH that works great vs a non-rush norse, hades, another gaia, set, and especially possy.
-start off one vil, make EG, research Hunting Dogs + Hand Axe, send to food (game animals), invoke gaia forest next to tc (not close enough for tc flame)
-make another for food (2)
-make one for wood (1) and research pickaxe
-make one for gold (1) + manor
-make another for food (3)
-make another for food (4)
-make another for gold (2) + temple with wood vil
-make another for food (5)
-make another for gold (3)
ADVANCE: OCEANUS somewhere around 5:50
*I go oceanus because of murmilo upgrade and also carnivora works great vs norse if you have archers and are attacking the tc. Calderia for the scout
After advance* Don't make any more vils; use all three gold vils to make armory, and adv asap (Thei?, or whichever the bird+dyrad god, im brain dead atm). This is at 7:04!! (very fast)
After you click advance, subtract two vils from food and give to wood, so that you have 3 even on each resource. You should also be scounting enemy gold sites for late game.
While* you are advancing, use 1 food and 1 gold vil to make 2 military brax, then send them back to their recourses. Use wood vil to make a manor.
Upon advance, invoke hesperdes tree text to tc (note: shields from enemy god powers). Cycle dyrads.
At the temple, cycle birds
At 1 brax, cycle arcus
At 1 brax, cycle contarus
Economy: All you do here is cycle vils to gold till you have around 7-8. You dont have to worry about upgrades for a while because you already have pickaxe, so when you hit around 5 vils, get shaft mine. You need some gold because dyrads are a little expensive. Research husbandry if there are herdables. If you plan on farming early for a quick boom, get plow and make some vils for wood, lets say 5 total. You also should make another tc using wood/gold vils if you're running out of pop. However, you should allow yourself to max out in population for about a minute or two so you can get additional upgrades at the armory, etc (common tactic with atty). Make sure you watch your pop so you don't get caught in a battle with maxed population. Build manors near gold sites, and one near wood sites to micro raids.
Military: This is relatively simple. Your myths are strong and will do well vs greek calvary. your arcus train faster than your contarus, so that should make your enemy norse stop making hersirs or force pierce ups. Try and rush him from here, keep pumping myths and birds ALWAYS ftw vs any norse god.
God power: Invoke carnivora near buildings/forward bases/foundations so they can eat soldiers and take down buildings or stop foundations from being built. As for your second Hesperides tree, I'd save it until you have a forward tc or your ally needs help. This is a quick way to get myths across the map. If you have a forward base and you are afraid of meteor/EQ/A-E, I suggest invoking near the tc or wherever you want protection.
Like i said, Gaia has her benefits. Oranos and Kronos are still better, but you shouldn't laugh at 1700s who say that their 2nd main is Gaia, because if played correctly, she could pwn your noob ass. I suggest that WHENEVER you play gaia, no matter the strat, get all 3 economy ups in 2 mins. This is her unique capability so take advantage of it. Personally, I prefer kronos for the OP deconstruction and krushing, and I also like Oranos for shockwave and 2 tc boom, but if you are bored of your main god and want to learn something new, try gaia out. And don't forget, her ships are cheaper
