-When a Poseidon building is destroyed, Militia will come out.
-A free Hippocampus (water scout) at your dock when you finish your temple. It has no attack but can respawn.
Poseidon's special unit is the "Hetaroi". This unit is good v buildings but basicly sucks v everything else.

Poseidon Heroes:
Archaic (Infantry) Theseus: Does his job killing MU and is also able to push vills off res early, but gets killed very easily.
Classical (Archer) Hippolyta: High attack with low hitpoints. Does her job v MU and also works fine v human units if she gets protected well.
Heroic (Infantry) Atalanta: Fast hero, strong attack and high hitpoints. Does very well v MU but also good v human units.
Mythic] (Cyclops) Polyphemus: Very much HP, throws MU away and got a decent siege attack.
Mythic (Water Hero) Argos: Good for killing Kraken and Scylla for example.

God Powers and Minor Gods:
Poseidon: Lure: Lure is a decent Godpower, attracts up to 1000food total. This will give you the ability to get some safe food in your base v like a krusher, or just put it next to your granary so you save 50 wood on your next granary
Ares: Pestilence: Unables enemy military buildings to produce units from there for some time. This is great for rushers but also good as an offensive GP.
Hermes: Ceasefire: This is one of my favourite GPs because it basicly beats most other GPs. Enemy uses flaming weapons? No problem, just use ceasefire yourself! This is also great for stealing TCs. You can just cease it and he can't do anything about it.
Aphrodite: Curse: Changes 8~ enemy units into pigs. People usually only use this as a defensive GP and then leave the pigs. But they all forget pigs are a great resource source and it can also be used as offensive. It basicly has the same effect as Locust Swarm but 100% effective. Just run into your enemy base and change 8 vills into pigs (works well, especially early).
Dyonisos: Bronze: Gives your units higher armor for some time. Good when having big fights but not all that useful apart from that.
Artemis: Earthquake: Takes down several enemy buildings at once. It will spread it's damage over all the buildings in the circle. Works very well early when people haven'g got Masons. Awesome way to take down your enemy's forward base.
Hepheastus: Plenty: Gives free resources. Not that special GP, is good early but in late-game you'll have enough econ yourself and the small trickle won't really help.

Versus Egyptian Hermes-Aphrodite-Artemis.
Versus Norse: Hermes-Dyonisos-Artemis.

Archaic:
Villager1+2+3 --> Granary at food, use lure here and upgrade hunting dogs.
Villager4+5+6+7 --> On the same food source.
Villager8+9+10+11 --> Wood.
Villager12 --> House --> Mining camp at gold.
Villager13 --> Goes to the same mining camp.
Villager14+15 --> Gold.
*UPGRADE HAND/PICK AXE AND HUSBANDRY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE*
Villager16 and on --> All to a new food source. Make a temple with 1 vill when possible and let him build 2 houses after temple.
*UPGRADE HERMES WHEN YOU HAVE ENOUGH FOOD*
Classical:
You should have 2 groups of food vills of around 7 vills each. One of those groups goes and take a TC. TC in front of back doesn't really matter, just get the one with the most resources close so you have secured resources for sure.
Make Theseus then put vills AQ on food.
When the 2nd TC is done build 2 stables and put the vills back on food.
Now you put hippikons on AQ and just raid him.
From the 2nd TC you put 6-8 vills on wood then put everything on gold while the 1st TC is still on food.
*GET ECONOMY UPGRADES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE*
Now, you'll see your economy gets very strong, go Heroic with aphrodite and you can most likely jump to mythic (Artemis) right away.
From here on it's basicly improvising.
Hints and tips:
-Scout 1 lap around your TC first, then scout his base. After this you scout all black pieces of the map left.
-Never fight fights you can't win. Actually, don't even fight him till you get mythic.
-Keep raiding him hard so your TC boom will pay off and give you an advantage.
-Versus Isis get all your heroes as soon as possible.

Poseidon 4:30~ Grush v All Gods On Medit:
Archaic:
Villager1+2 --> Pigs, use lure next to your Town centre, scout for more pigs.
Villager3 --> Dock --> Wood.
Villager4+5 --> Food.
Dock --> 2 Ships on fish.
Villager6+7+8 --> Wood. House when possible then make more ships on fish.
Villager9+10 --> Food
Villager11 --> Temple, if you don't have enough wood - stop making boats for a second.
Villager Rest --> Food.
Around 3:30 you gather all your foodies into your TC. If you still don't have 400food, move some fishing ships to your dock. Age with Ares.
Transistion:
Make a second dock with your temple builder - Try to build it far from the first dock in case of Serpents or an enemy pestilence.
Put 6 food vills on gold.
Put other food vills on wood - The best is to do this on a second forest.
Classical:
Put both docks on AQ with arrow ships. Don't go for his dock, instead push him off his food.
Make 6 more vills on wood. When you have those, make a third dock to start pumping fishing ships. Then start creating vills on gold.
When you feel you have won water, start fishing all of it and make some stables/archery ranges. Also change some wood vills to gold.
Boom a bit and age up as soon as possible.
Hints and tips:
-Fish water when you won it, if you don't fish it, you could've aswell left it the way it was.
-Watch out for landrushes.
-Micro your arrow ships well.
-V Norse (Forest Fire) use 2/3 different forests.
